Revolution, Exeter
There’s a revolution happening in Exeter.
Quite literally – as Exeter welcomes this fun cocktail, drinks and food-led bar/restaurant chain to the corner of Queen Street and Gandy Street.
Grade II listed grandeur contrasts with yet complements the bold, vibrant interior décor and makes a statement: you’ve arrived. It’s loud, proud and full of positive energy.
Three levels help to create distinctive zones, each with their own character and seating options to suit your reason for visiting.
By day, and into the evening, the focus is more about the menu, creating an environment for relaxed catch-ups, working lunches and tailored parties.
Grazing and sharing dishes fill the menu to stay true to the group experience that Revolution promotes, while a huge range of fully loaded burgers, hot dogs and pizzas sit alongside some carefully chosen mains, sandwiches and desserts on the core menu.
Looking for something special? Try the specialty Revolution afternoon tea comprising of cheeseburger sliders, fried chicken, loaded fries with cheesecake and brownies to satisfy the sweet tooth. There’s a vegan version too!
Bottomless brunches and VIP packages add further to the offering. There’s even a great lunch deal giving you a sandwich, wrap or salad and a soft or hot drink for just £6.95 – with the ability to add fries for just an extra £1!
By night, Revolution serves as an upbeat, high-energy bar and cocktail venue for all occasions. Enjoy two for £10 on selected cocktails before 9pm, including all the classics and some pretty out-there, Instagram-worthy concoctions to take you on a journey of discovery. Salted Caramel Colada anyone?
You can even learn to recreate cocktails at home with a 90-minute cocktail masterclass. Great for a birthday party experience, you can get hands-on behind the bar learning the art of the shaker and more with your own dedicated bartender in an ultra-glam, top-floor private bar.
Manager Arran has an infectious positivity and love for the venue, and hosts a whole variety of events and entertainment to keep things exciting – from DJ nights to drag nights and everything in between.
Whenever you visit, and whatever you experience, it’s clear to see that fun and creativity is at the heart of everything. That’s a revolution we can get behind.
