Spearheaded by husband and wife, Russ and Gemma, they set about creating versatile, well-rounded rums that limit their impact on the planet. Russ has a PhD in Organic Chemistry and has spent many years working on carbon capture and utilisation technologies, enabling them to do so.
The four-strong range can be enjoyed simply over ice or used as a base for a number of cocktails; the highly unique Overproof Pineapple Rum; White Rum; the classic Rum and Spiced Rum.
They also run distillery tours where you can see their beautiful aircraft hanger style warehouse, where the molasses is fermented and twice distilled into their beautiful rums. Including a welcome cocktail, information about how they operate, the tour, and of course generous tastings!
